IIC successfully hosted the JobStart Indonesia (JSI) Training of Trainers at Santika Hotel, BSD City, from July 24-25, 2024. This training, facilitated by our TA team, brought together Disnaker and BBPVP/BPVP staff from Medan, Deli Serdang, Serang, Semarang, Batang, Penajam Paser Utara, and Samarinda, along with observers from CMEA, Kemnaker, and Bappenas.
The JSI Training of Trainers aims to empower Disnaker and BBPVP/BPVP staff to independently deliver Life Skills Training (LST) and Career Guidance (CG) as part of the JobStart Indonesia Program. This program focuses on enhancing the employability of unemployed youth by integrating them into productive work. Targeting those not in education, employment, or training (NEET) youth, JSI is designed as a school-to-work transition initiative that equips Indonesian youth with career counseling, life skills, workplace training, and job-matching support.
This initiative is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under TA-6924 REG: Southeast Asia Public Management, Financial Sector, and Trade Policy Facility (Phase II) – HCD2-I-F Labor Market Activation/Skills Development, with Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs as the Executing Agency.
Together, we are shaping a brighter future for Indonesia’s youth!
